Abstract

The paper studies the fault detection, identification and isolation problems for linear control systems under the disturbances. To address the problem, sliding mode observers are used. The suggested approach for constructing sliding mode observer is based on the reduced order model of the initial system. This allows to reduce complexity of sliding mode observer and relax the conditions imposed on the initial system.
