Abstract

This paper considers the fault detection problem of wireless network control system with multiple time delay and packet loss. For a class of model which has disturbance and fault, we assume that packet loss occurs between the controller and actuator, and the fault observer is modeled for a discrete time linear system with time delay. By the use of Lyapunov function, a stability condition of this observer is acquired through linear matrix inequality. When fault happens, the observer residual changes rapidly and the fault can be quickly detected. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed method is demonstrated by simulation results.
