Abstract

This paper proposes a fault detection and diagnosis method based on fuzzy model. T-S fuzzy model is used to fit the normal operation process and the nonlinear model of each fault. When a fault occurs, fault detection is performed using the residuals in normal model. Then, the faulty fuzzy models are used to diagnose a fault. DAMADICS simulation platform is used to obtain several fault data, which are some of the possible faults in the real system. The proposed fault detection and diagnosis method based on fuzzy model is able to detect and diagnose the simulated faults.
