Abstract

A Global model based method for detection, localization and diagnosis of fault is proposed. An application on a laboratory pilot unit is presented. Detection of fault is obtained from an on line identification followed by hypothesis testing. Localization and diagnosis use residuals computed by a balance equation and a rule base system. Fault recovery method is analyzed and simulated.
