Abstract

Simultaneous blood and fat levels were measured in a total of 286 analyses in 11 chemically sensitive patients. There were 128 samples positive for chemicals and 158 cases where the chemicals were non-detectable. Blood and fat were both positive 22 times. It is clear that the simultaneous analysis of both blood and fat samples has a higher sensitivity than blood alone, but blood alone will give a higher yield than fat alone.
