Abstract
The 1-hour oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) is the most commonly used method to screen for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in the US and was designed to be administered without regard to time of day or last meal. We aimed to determine the effect of fasting vs. eating prior to the OGTT on screen results.
