Abstract

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common illnesses in infants and delayed diagnosis can result in morbidity including renal scarring and serious bacterial illness. Unfortunately, obtaining a urine sample from a pre-continent infant can be challenging and time consuming, and may require invasive technique.
