Abstract

The electromagnetic scattering from rough surface is quickly simulated through the integral equation domain decomposition method (IE-DDM) in this paper. And to prevent the edge truncation effect of the rough surface, the Gaussian wave beam with the energy concentrated in the center is selected as the incident wave. Moreover, the rough surface is divided into three regions. And these three regions are separated with different intervals for the tapered plane wave. The accuracy and efficiency of the IE-DDM are demonstrated by comparing with simulations of the traditional method of moments (MoM).
