Abstract

Internet playing most efficient part in today's interchangeable infrastructure but it has been observed that IP networks affected with common network failures which cause the cautious concurrence of routing protocols after network failures, whereas several of the proposals available with high network availability regardless of failures, but existing proposals actively handle only single failure and drop the packets or cause the hoops when the multiple failures occurrence situation present. To assure the fast recovery for progressing continuity for the multiple failures situation, present a new recovery scheme known as fast rerouting for multiple link failures consuming LOLS routing protocol in IP networks. LOLS consist an exclude list for each packet, an exclude list is nothing but the possible collection of unsuccessful links run alongside its path and the subsequent hop concluded by including an exclude listed links. As LOLS can surely handle the packet progressing till the destination for multiple link failures too but it will be the unsuccessful existence of any kind of network attack. This is the reason we work with an additional scheme known as Wormhole attack detector and avoidance system, wormhole attack is the possible attack in IP networks because of LOLS is unable to handle any kind of attack, by including AOMDV algorithm with LOLS. In AOMDV algorithm, one mechanism used called as total round tour time (RTT) of recent route and regular round tour times. In wormhole attack, harmful hop annals packet from source hop in network and channels them up to destination hop (harmful hop) present to another end of the network. I have presented in this paper, two schemes, the first scheme applies fast rerouting using LOLS routing algorithm with the second scheme for Wormhole attack avoidance using AOMDV algorithm. LOLS and AOMDV are gainful to hold the quality of hoop free progressing even with wormhole attack in IP network.
