Abstract

The efficiency of Nb 2O 5 as a catalyst for hydrogen sorption reaction of magnesium is investigated. Absorption and desorption kinetics are determined at 250 and 300 °C and are compared to other metal and oxide catalysts. The results demonstrate that the catalytic effect of Nb 2O 5 is superior in absorption as well as desorption.
