Abstract

When the number of field observation points and number of Method of Moments (MoM) currents are large, calculation of scattered electric and magnetic fields requires significant time. In this paper we demonstrate usage of Adaptive Cross Approximation (ACA) to speed up calculation of scattered field, formulated like scattering matrix multiplication on currents vector. To demonstrate efficiency of described technique, it is implemented in two different MoM solvers and applied to human exposure problems with the large number of field observation points. A good agreement between the results, obtained using direct and fast field calculations is demonstrated.
