Abstract

With the continuous growth of the number and types of information and communication equipment, the types and numbers of faults have also begun to increase sharply. How to effectively analyze and process the fault data of information and communication equipment in order to obtain useful knowledge and assist the maintenance and management of information and communication equipment has become a key issue. The fast fault signal acquisition algorithm of power communication equipment based on wavelet transform is a new technology for fault detection of distribution system. It was developed by researchers from the Department of electrical engineering, University of Parma, Italy. The system includes an innovative receiver that uses wavelet transform to detect and filter rapidly changing signals in a noisy environment. In order to avoid false positives caused by random noise, it can be used with adaptive filtering technology. Even if there are multiple active faults in a short time, the receiver can provide accurate fault detection results.
