Abstract

The combined use of periodic orbit computation and Fast Lyapunov Indicator Maps of systems with three degrees of freedom is proposed as a tool for estimating qualitative stability in corresponding real models. Application to spacecraft mission analysis reveals very useful in finding real orbits with very long term stability properties.
