Abstract
In the presence of Cs2CO3 and I2, the coupling reaction of dialkyl phosphites with dichalcogenides (S, Se and Te) proceeds efficiently and completes in several minutes under mild conditions, affording the corresponding chalcogenophosphates in moderate to good yields. This fast and transition metal-free procedure provides a general method for the preparation of chalcogenophosphates.
