Abstract

The study has highlighted the farmers’ perception towards e-National Agriculture Market Systems adopted by Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) market in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The study reported the awareness level of farmers towards various e-services rendered under e-NAM by APMC. It was also attempted to state the insight of farmers’ perception towards implementation of e-NAM by APMC. The common problems faced by farmers were also investigated with e-NAM seeking farmers’ suggestions to improve these services. It was highlighted that APMC market should work on providing the complete information regarding the function of e-NAM services in providing the transparency in the accounts and also making the modes of payment easy so that each farmer could work in APMC market.
