Abstract

The factors that hinder the progress of the education process according to the determined plans and programs and cause the process to be interrupted are expressed as disciplinary problems. With this study, which was designed in a qualitative design, it was aimed to identify student and teacher-related disciplinary problems that were reflected to the administrators at different education levels, and to determine the solution proposals developed by the administrators against the related problems. According to the research findings, student-related disciplinary problems encountered in primary, secondary and high school schools were grouped under four categories as family, economic, environmental factors and friend relations. Teacher-based disciplinary problems, on the other hand, were seen to have characteristic features, environmental and economic problems. As solution suggestions, it was seen that suggestions such as identifying needs, providing support training, and making necessary arrangements in the school were developed. When the difficulties encountered in realizing the solution proposals are examined, it is concluded that the opportunities provided by the schools to the solution providers, the responsibilities that cannot be fulfilled, the burnout experienced by the teachers in this process, the lack of vision in the school cause difficulties in solving the process.
