Abstract

The results of current work suggest that the farfield-noise characteristics of deflected and undeflected rocket flows emanating from multiple nozzles can be predicted by techniques previously proposed for sonic flows. The paper reviews the simplified flow models utilized as prediction tools for several cases, and compares prediction with available data.
