Abstract
Measurements of Faraday rotation and magnetization have been performed on antiferromagnetic FeF 2, MnF 2 and their mixtures in high magnetic fields above 100 T using a single turn coil method. Faraday rotation shows the component of magnetization contributed only by Fe moments in the mixed crystals, while the total induced magnetization is obtained by magnetization measurements.
