Abstract

A family of high-frequency models for operational amplifier difference-mode gain are derived from measured frequency-response data, using a complex curve-fitting technique by Levy. This technique finds a model of a desired order which minimizes a weighted sum of squared magnitude and phase errors at discrete frequencies. First- to fourth-order models are derived, with the fourth-order model being accurate over a considerably wider frequency range than a previously published model.
