Abstract

Carapace quadrate to subquadrate, lateral margins relatively straight, parallel, slightly diverging posteriorly, no clear junction between anterolateral and posterolateral margins. Front relatively broad. Eyes small. Antennules folded obliquely, antennae and antennules large. Third maxillipeds with triangular merus, not completely covering anterior part of buccal cavern. Chelipeds relatively small, robust, subequal. Walking legs relatively long, with dense setae, last two legs markedly reduced, directed upward, subcheliform for carrying shells and sea anemones. Abdomen of males and females with seven somites, all freely moving, first and second somites are seen from dorsal view. G1 stout; G2 narrow, shorter than G1.
