FAMILY COMMUNICATION PATTERNS IN SUNGAI BULUH VILLAGE, BATANG ANAI DISTRICT, PADANG PARIAMAN REGENCY

Abstract

The background of this research is that human life cannot stand alone, therefore humans are categorized as social beings who need to communicate with other humans, or express opinions, feelings, wishes and desires so that other people can understand our desires as well as we can understand what people want. other. To achieve such communication goals, a harmonious family condition is very influential in family communication. This study aims to determine the integrity of the father and mother when communicating in the family, especially the adaptation of the father and mother when communicating within the family. This method uses descriptive method, which describes a number of variables under study without testing the relationship (relationship) between the variables studied. The design used in this research is descriptive research in the form of a survey. The results showed that the integration of the father and mother when communicating in the family in Sungai Buluh village was quite good with a percentage of 95%. Most of the fathers and mothers had felt an emotional connection, individual appreciation and agreement in decision making.
