Abstract

The association of pheochromocytoma with neurocutaneous diseases and tumors of neuroectodermal origin has recently been recognized. The case reported here provides evidence to suggest that there is more than a random relationship between pheochromocytoma and these tumors of the primitive ectodermal tissue. In addition to similar etiology and pathology, it is likely that a common origin may be postulated.
