Abstract

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and multiple sclerosis (MS) are two neurological disorders with very different etiologies, genetic basis, clinical picture and prognosis. Thus their occurrence with in the same family is very unusual. Here we report a case of a 60 years old woman with familial ALS(fALS) meanwhile her daughter has relapsing remitting MS (RRMS).
