Abstract

Infomation can be divided into true information and false information. But true information only occupies a small portion in language communication. Oftentimes, we are surrounded by false information. This is because paying attention to communication skills and the beautification of language is closely related to man's efforts to make success in communication. To realize the goal, we have to release false information so as to make our language vivid, mild and pleasant to the ears. In this paper, the author examines the classification of false information and the causes of its formation from the point of view of interpersonal relationship, social psychology and aethetical linguistics. In the meantime, suggestions are made as to how to view the relatioship between false information and rhetoric.
