Abstract

Implications: Clinicians in Singapore can adopt the recommendation of assessment of neck range of motion and sensory sensitivity including cold hyperalgesia advocated by clinical practice guidelines for WAD. Clinicians managing patients with chronic WAD in Singapore may need to enhance pain management strategies by taking into account the increased cold pressor pain sensitivity in Singaporeans and modify treatment interventions according to patients’ presentation.
