Abstract
Parental education is a process of changing the way of thinking or behavior intellectually and emotionally. Parental education at home is something that children really need in achieving success in learning at home during BDR. In this pandemic, teaching and learning activities are carried out in accordance with the times. That's why the education of parents who are very dominant is needed by children to improve children's learning achievement at home. This study aims to find various obstacles and describe the education of parents when accompanying or giving direction to their children in learning at home. The method used in this research is the description method. Furthermore, the data collection techniques used were interview, observation, and note-taking techniques. The results of this study indicate various obstacles for parents in online learning, namely parents do not have android, parents are not able to operate android, parents cannot wait to accompany children to study at home, parents do not master the material, parent and family education, applications used . Learning that must be faced must be conducive and can be understood by parents and children. Through this research, of course, researchers hope for parents how important education is for the progress and success of their children's future. So that online or offline learning will all run smoothly. to parents of local students to monitor the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

2020, yang disampaikan langsung oleh Presiden Joko Widodo (Nuraini R. 2020), dan saat ini telah menginfeksi 23,165 orang dengan jumlah kematian 1,418 jiwa, dan jumlah pasien yang sembuh 5,877 orang (covid19.go.id, 2020). Orang tua menggap bahwa tidak perlu adanya pengajaran dirumah pada anaknya, karena itu adalah urusan guru di sekolah disinilah yang harus dipahami oleh orang tua bahwa pendidikan bukan hanya disekolah tetapi yang amat utama sekali dari rumah. Berbagai kendala tersebut perlunya konfirmasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua yang baik agar proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan di rumah dapat berjalan sesuai yang diharapkan.
