Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest of Islamic insurance students to become agents in the insurance industry at PT Asuransi Prudential Syariah Binjai. Agents play an important role in insurance companies, and agents are also very aware of all the products they sell to customers as a form of responsibility to customers to obtain clear and accurate information about the products provided. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach. The results showed that the factors that influence students' desire to become agents in the insurance industry are motivation, understanding of insurance products, commission income, working hours of insurance agents.
