Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the factors that influence students' interest in saving in Islamic banks which consist of Religiosity, Knowledge, Location, Profit Sharing, Parents Recommendations, Disposable Income. Primary data used in this study were collected using a questionnaire distributed to UPN “Veteran” East Java students and students of the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Class of 2017. The method used in sampling was a simple random sampling technique with 118 respondents and data analysis used namely WarpPLS 7.0. The results of this study indicate that Knowledge and Profit Sharing have a positive influence on interest in saving in Islamic banks. Meanwhile, Religiosity, Location, Parental Recommendations and Disposable Income have no influence on interest in saving at Islamic banks.
