Abstract

The rise of cases of child marriages in Indonesia is increasing every year, including in the Village of Krasak not only a regional problem but also a national and global one. This study illustrates the dominant factors of complex child marriage. The results of research on the experience of informants about child marriages showed 78% of the reasons parents encourage and bless their children to do child marriages because of parents' concerns about their children doing promiscuity, pregnancy out of wedlock and adultery. The role of parents most influences the child's decision to marry a child. Child marriage is an act that violates children's rights. So it is important to have a strategy as efforts made by building awareness and cooperation from all elements of society, parents, children and policy makers ranging from village, district / city, provincial to national governments to stop child marriage, including the integration of values Social studies in terminating child marriage in learning at school.
