Abstract

During the COVID-19 outbreak, most religious places in the world are closed down for months together. Many religious leaders and communities of faith have canceled their services and other gatherings for quite some time. In many nations, such gatherings are already prohibited or discouraged. There are many versions of the status of faith for people in this unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Some of them believe that the lockdown of the place of worship has impacted their faith also. Some believe that this is a transit phase to curb the spreading of the virus and this will finally help mankind in the long run. This paper is based on an empirical study conducted to determine the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on individual faith. The globe has been undergoing one of the most severe crises in human history. The Corona virus-induced COVID-19 pandemic is changing the world's demographics and psychographics, and we are watching history in the making. We've also seen harsh lockdown regimes in several countries.
