Abstract

A Cabrol shunt is employed as a method to control hemorrhage after complex aortic reconstruction surgery. Shunt occlusion leading to pseudoaneurysm has not been previously described. A 20 year old male with Marfan syndrome underwent an elective David procedure for progressive aortic root dilation.
