Abstract
Abstract Three-body contributions to the inclusive break-up cross section are derived and discussed. The Faddeev equations are used for this purpose. A new sum rule, which is similar in structure as the Ichimura, Austern and Vincent sum rule, but it contains the full three-body corrections at the DWBA level, is derived and analysed.
