My faculty member wants to be included on the byline when I submit the report of the study to a peer-reviewed journal. However, I am uncomfortable doing this and would appreciate any guidance you can provide. </P><P>I am a faculty member who has been contributing a lot to a student’s paper to be submitted for publication. As a result of the multiple reviews I have done, I have not only provided a critical review but have also contributed substantive content. I believe my name should be on the manuscript byline, but I am unclear how best to proceed. </P><P>I am about to give my first oral presentation at a national conference. How should I prepare?</P>
