Abstract

Believing that student evaluation of faculty can be a positive experience, the authors describe the process used to develop a computerized faculty evaluation tool. The developmental process, which included faculty and student views about characteristics of good teachers, resulted in a more efficient system that alleviated faculty and student concerns and provided data for faculty development and retention.
