Abstract

Medically serious (stage 3 or 4) pressure ulcers (MSPrUs) negatively impact quality of life and participation for individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) and remain one of the most frequent reasons for unplanned hospitalizations in this population. The objective of this study was to identify factors that may protect against the development of MSPrUs in adults with SCI.
