Abstract
Analysis of a relationship between substance use and other forms of addictive behavior of adolescents and young people of the Arkhangelsk region has been presented. Influence of intrafamily relationships and quality of parental control on likelihood of substance use by respondents has been studied. The necessity of multi-disciplinary programs for enhancement of self-preservation behavior of adolescents and young adults taking into account age, gender and living conditions has been proved.
