Abstract
Identifying students with low adaptive capacity to academic workloads is a necessary condition for improving the psychophysiological safety of the educational environment. Identifying children at risk who are prone to developing psychosomatic disorders due to academic overload means preventing their possible development in time. The importance of the problem and its insufficient study in the psychological literature, especially in terms of studying the factors contributing to the formation of a high level of neuropsychic stress, determined the choice of the topic of the article. Objective. To determine the factors that determine the level of neuropsychic stress in the situation of assessing knowledge of senior schoolchildren. Results. A theoretical analysis of the scientific literature on the problem under study was carried out; factors influencing the level of neuropsychic stress of senior schoolchildren in the situation of assessing knowledge were identified and substantiated; psychodiagnostic tools were selected; an empirical study was conducted to test the hypothesis put forward. Conclusion. The mental states of senior schoolchildren of medical classes, in the situation of assessing knowledge, are influenced by motivation for success (avoidance of failure), the level of self-esteem and the level of personal anxiety.
