The multifaceted factors leading to the increasing prevalence of mental health challenges among employees within service-based industries. Amidst the dynamic landscape of modern workplaces, employees face an array of stressors, ranging from demanding workloads and tight deadlines to interpersonal conflicts and job insecurity. The paper delves into the unique stressors inherent to service-based industries, where the pressure to meet client expectations, maintain service quality, and navigate unpredictable customer interactions can significantly impact employee well-being. Furthermore, organizational factors such as inadequate support systems, lack of mental health resources, and stigma surrounding mental health issues exacerbate the problem. Drawing on existing literature and empirical evidence, this abstract aims to shed light on the complex interplay of individual, organizational, and environmental factors contributing to the escalating mental health concerns among employees in service-based industries.
