Abstract
SISP is a cornerstone of the information system discipline and its Success is perhaps going to be more important in today’s world of e-commerce prevalence. Yet, despite those facts and its increasing importance, very little attention has been given to its success based on the resource- based view of the firm (RBV).The researchers’ aim is to build a model for SISP success based on RBV perspective and hope that it will be helpful for gaining a superior assessment and better understanding of the SISP. The purpose of this study is to conceptualize the factors moderating the relationship between IS capabilities and SISP success. at the end, the conceptual model is proposed.
