Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to share the importance of job satisfaction and factors that contribute to job satisfaction. It is recommended in this study that work-life balance, job training, compensation system and superior-subordinate relationship are important factors that influence job satisfaction. This study also provides theoretical and practical implications to guide future research and industry practitioners in the aspect of job satisfaction. This study serves as a guideline to boost employee overall performance as saying goes: "a satisfied and happy worker is a productive worker”.
