Abstract

The purpose of this study is to consider the factors forming the motivation of employees in Japan. The study proceeds in the following steps: (1) extract the factors that form work motivation, based on the literature; (2) investigate the work motivation of employees in Japanese companies by questionnaire survey; (3) consider which factors reflect motivation and which do not.
