Abstract

Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (Balitbangtan) has produced various technological innovations, one of which is superior chicken called KUB. Massive dissemination on the KUB chicken has been carried out to through intensive assistance including caging and feeding management. This study aims to analyze the factors determining farmers’ capacity in raising the KUB chicken. The study used surveys and interviews to collect the data. Findings showed that not all technologies in raising the KUB chicken have been well understood and adopted by farmers. Several factors have affected its adoption process involving dissemination methods, media, materials, and channels.
