Abstract

To the Editor: The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) is one of the most highly attended dermatology conferences held each year and is a major forum for the dissemination of research insights within the field.1 Although hundreds of original abstracts are presented at the AAD annually, fewer than half of these abstracts progress toward reaching a broader audience through subsequent manuscript publication.1 There remains a paucity of data on the factors influencing the publication outcomes of the presented abstracts at such dermatology conferences.
