Abstract
This research aims to analyze the effect of tree number, plant age, labor, fertilizer, and herbicide on coconut production and to analyze the added value of coconut farmers. The results showed that 1) Number of trees (X 1 ), plant age (X 2 ), Labor (X 3 ), and Fertilizer (X 4 ) had a positive and significant influence on coconut production in West Aceh district, while Herbicide (X 5 ) and significant to coconut production in West Aceh District. 2) Acceptance of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) of Rp. 428.266.67 each time the production with total cost of Rp. 369.279.57. The value added processing of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is Rp. 2.674.43 / Liter. R/C Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is 1.16. 3) Acceptance of broom sticks of Rp. 180.465,00 each time the production with total cost of Rp. 138.466,16. 2). Value added in broom making Rp. 2.547.31 / ikat. R / C on broom making that is 1.30.
