Abstract

Rationale: Home parenteral nutrition (HPN) is a life-saving therapy for patients with chronic intestinal failure. However, HPN is associated with impaired quality of life and a degree of psychological distress, although the factors associated with the need for antidepressants in this cohort have not yet been described.
