Abstract

The superdeterminants of a class of operators in (1,0) supergravity are considered as functionals on the space of frames. Several groups act on this space. It is shown that while in general there is an obstruction to the factorization of the superdeterminants on parameters which describe frames which are not related to each other by group actions, this can vanish for appropriate combinations of superdeterminants. The operators considered are relevant to the superspace description of the heterotic string.
