Abstract
Abstract This paper reports how factorial treatment combinations may be used in rectangular lattice designs. The analysis of variance is obtained both with and without recovery of inter-block information. Explicit formulae are presented for the variances and covariances of the treatment effects as well as single degree-of-freedom comparisons. In fact, this paper extends all the uses of factorial treatment combinations in complete block designs to rectangular lattice designs.
