Abstract

The article is devoted to modelling expectations of inter-ethnic and inter-religious conflicts. The goal is to reveal the hidden structure of factors influencing the perception of the idea of interethnic and interreligious harmony in the youth community of the Russian Federation. The object of the study is the residents of the corresponding age (youth) and sociological group (students). The subject of the study is the prioritization of the need to achieve interethnic and interreligious harmony. The processing and analysis of sociological data was carried out according to the scheme "Data preprocessing" - "Data analysis and search for insights" - "Analytics and modeling". The “preprocessing” stage involved checking the data for quality and the presence of rough semantic “outliers”. As a result, the latent structure of factors influencing the perception of the idea of interethnic and interreligious harmony in the student community was revealed. At the stage of factor analysis, 6 interpretable factors were identified that adequately describe the general variability of the variables. The results indicate the presence in the student youth environment of certain deviations (stereotypes) on the issue of interethnic and interreligious consent unrelated to highlighted factors.
