Abstract

Many teachers, psychologists, and other specialists currently use the Frostig Developmental Test of Visual Perception (DTVP) as a predictor of school achievement in the early elementary grades and as a device for determining correlates of reading disorders. In some cases, the DTVP has been used without question as to its validity. The results reported in this paper pertain mainly to the content validity of the DTVP.
