Abstract

Abstract The Wilson-Patterson Conservatism Scale was completed by 150 subjects, and their responses were submitted to a principal components analysis followed by a varimax rotation. The analysis reconfirmed the factor structure of the Conservatism Scale. The findings support the notion that there is a general factor of conservatism in the scale.
